The Faculty of Business & Economics of Macquarie University facilitates an internship programme for their students to gain real world work experience with world-class businesses in the local area.

Macquarie University PACE Program

Professional & Community Engagement (PACE) is a bold initative of Macquarie University that aims to connect students with industry. By studying a PACE unit, Macquarie students are given the change to contribute their academic learning, enthusiasm and fresh perspective to the professional workplace.

The Faculty of Business and Economics PACE Program is designed to create productive partnerships between the Faculty, and Industry and provide students with valuable work experience with leading public, private and not-for-profit sector organisations.

The University has many students who are interested in undertaking internship placements and as such, The Faculty is looking for to building relationships with Partners who could benefit from student interns.

The following disciplines are offered through the Faculty of Business and Economics and students can complete an internship related to one of these disciplines:

  • Accounting
  • Actuarial Studies
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Human Resources
  • International Business
  • Marketing
