Principal's Welcome

RossMorling College is committed to the ministry of the gospel - whether it be pastoral, missional or Christians taking the biblical message into their secular work environments.

We live in a rapidly changing culture and today’s theological and Bible college graduates live and minister in a global environment. Opportunities to minister in this marketplace change and broaden. In this increasingly complex environment, Christians need a theological education that is biblically sound and equips them to serve at the cutting edge.

Studying the Bible is at the heart of all Morling College courses. We believe a sound evangelical knowledge of God, through biblical, theological and historical study, is essential for sharing and living out the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Morling College courses equip students for pastoral ministry, evangelism and global mission, chaplaincy, counselling, youth and children’s ministry, postgraduate theological studies and teacher education.

Morling College does more than train men and women from Baptist churches or to minister in Baptist churches. Our students often come from other denominations without feeling a call to church-based ministry. Some are interested in serving in chaplaincy, clinical counselling professions, non-profit aid and mission agencies, high school teaching, some in youth or children’s work, and others in interdenominational or para-church ministry.

Some students enter the College unclear about the ministry God has called them to but with a desire to train at the highest possible level. Whichever path a student travels, Morling College aims to equip them to impact their world.

Our motto is Summa Supremo - ‘the utmost for the Highest’. Our aim is to know God and then to train people to serve God. As you explore our website, I hope you discover how the Morling community can equip you to impact your world.
