Urban Activation Precincts Program

This NSW State Government initiative aims to deliver more homes in places with access to infrastructure, transport, services and jobs. Two out of its eight identified precincts are within the City of Ryde, including Herring Road Macquarie Park and the North Ryde Station Precinct. With an injection of $50 million in the 2012-13 budget, the Program includes upgrades to public spaces such as local parks and streetscapes. Affordable Rental Housing

The Affordable Rental Housing plan is designed to increase affordable rental and social housing, encouraging home owners, housing providers and developers to invest and create new affordable rental housing. Social Housing Projects
